As a wedding officiant, I approach the wedding day as a team player. From the photographer to the caterer to the musicians and the servers, we are all part of a team that is there for one reason. While I am the director of the ceremony, the organized wedding planner manages the entire team. I always call the planner weeks before and create a partnership. I believe a good wedding planner is worth their weight in gold! And even though they may seem to cost a bit up front, they often make up much of the cost in streamlining planning, their knowledge, and their problem-solving ability while relieving stress.
